    Cory R. Bainbridge joined Potestivo & Associates in April of 2010. Cory is based in the firm’s Rochester Hills office and serves as Associate Attorney in the Landlord Tenant and Loss Mitigation departments. Prior to joining the firm, Cory’s draw to the concepts and law surrounding real property inspired him to be a solo practitioner at Bainbridge Law, PLLC where the practice areas focused on family law, estate planning and landlord tenant / real property matters. Cory also held a position as the Policy and Communication Coordinator for General Motors’ Company Vehicle Program. Cory earned his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University, where he majored in Human Resource Management. He then went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy where he also was a clinician in the Urban Law Clinic and completed an internship at the 16th Judicial Circuit Court in Macomb County. Cory is a member of the Michigan State Bar, American Bar Association and the Macomb County Bar Association, remaining active in the Young Lawyers Section.He has a J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy and B.A. Michigan State University.

    Jeff Naimon is a partner in the Washington, DC office of BuckleySandler LLP. Mr. Naimon has more than 20 years of experience assisting banks and other financial services providers with regulatory, enforcement, transactional, and litigation matters. Mr. Naimon provides regulatory and enforcement counseling on fair lending or unfair, deceptive or abusive acts and practices (UDAAP) issues. He defends banks and other financial services companies facing regulatory enforcement matters before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRB), and state banking and mortgage regulators. He also provides regulatory advice with a focus on consumer operations, and assists in drafting legislative or regulatory advocacy papers. Mr. Naimon also performs fair lending and other regulatory due diligence on acquisition targets and outsourcing counterparties to mitigate and/or value possible risk involving loan portfolios or other lending operations. He also assists companies with structuring acquisition and investment transactions in the financial services arena to minimize the time necessary to close the transaction, and assist in obtaining necessary change of control approvals. Mr. Naimon advises on the entire panoply of banking and consumer finance statutes, including the Dodd-Frank Act, National Bank Act, Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Housing Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the privacy provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and state laws governing lending, servicing, collections and unfair and deceptive acts and practices. He has assisted many servicers in the interpretation of the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Uniform Security Instrument. Mr. Naimon is the current co-chair of the Truth in Lending Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Consumer Financial Services Committee and has authored numerous articles on consumer financial services. Mr. Naimon received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from Yale University (magna cum laude).

Mr. Nagai has retail and commercial banking experience at several Top-10 institutions including merger & acquisition operational consolidation, treasury/cash management operational design, and transformation and mortgage servicing operating strategy. As a senior executive at a leading global bank, Mr. Nagai led the operating strategy and product management team, responsible for loss mitigation products and capabilities within the home lending division.

    Randy Bockenstedt is senior vice president of Customer Contact for default servicing at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (WFHM). In this role, Bockenstedt is responsible for managing Collections and our Single Point of Contact (SPOC) model for the mortgage servicing channel. He also oversees quality assurance, training and leadership development teams. Bockenstedt has more than 12 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. Bockenstedt’s career with Wells Fargo began in March 2009. Prior to joining WFHM, Bockenstedt managed the real estate collections teams at CitiMortgage, with operations throughout the United States and in the Philippines. Bockenstedt also has professional experience in Auto and Retail Collections, as well as Underwriting.Bockenstedt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Park University in Parkville, Mo. He served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years, honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant, stationed in Florida, Germany and Utah.
