Following her successful engagement with that team, she became the Secretariat for HL7 Canada, the Canadian arm of the international healthcare messaging standards development organization.Allie has been published or interviewed in various standards and Health Informatics spaces (Canadian EMR, HL7 Canada, SIMS Podcast, Canadian Healthcare Technology), has been on a few committees and boards (IHE Canada Board, Canada Health Infoway Steering Committee, HL7s Rim Based Application Architecture, Marketing, Membership, Publishing), and has a fondness for presenting (HL7 Canada Conferences, IHE Canada, HL7 International, MDM Conference).When not agitating for data quality and truth, justice and the Canadian way, Allie relaxes at her home in Torontos Beaches, with her hubby, two teenage daughters, dogs, cats and a garden that is constantly in need of weeding.

Laura Sousa's rich career covers information technology as executive, strategist, project/program manager and consultant. As the VP of Loyalty Program Integration, Laura leads the Canadian Tire data warehouse & analytics, MDM and Information Governance practices. A key element of CTCs information management strategy is the development of a business-driven MDM implementation strategy that will serve as a strong foundational element to support strategic priorities including customer centric retailing. Prior to joining Canadian Tire, Laura has held senior roles in IT with Marsh Canada Ltd, a risk management and brokerage firm, Digital 4Sight, an internet research and strategy management consulting firm, and Andersen Consulting, now named Accenture, where she gained most of her technical and consulting expertise. Doug Lloyd is the financial system authority for the government of Canada. He is responsible for developing and setting financial business processes for the government, as well as establishing common financial information, common financial configurations, and policies on the stewardship of financial management systems (both automated and manual). His team is also responsible for a community building and capacity development regime for finance personnel in the government, as well as operating a centre of outreach aspects of finance. Prior to this, Mr. Lloyd was on exchange from the private sector where he was the President and CEO of a private sector niche management consulting company and was responsible for managing and troubleshooting major crown projects for Treasury Board Secretariat, Public Works and Government Services Canada and Human Resources Development Canada. He won two distinction awards from the industry for project management at this time. Mr. Lloyd is the former President and Chair of the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority, the provincial Crown Corporation responsible for all yellow school busses in Ottawa-Carleton; and is now the chair of the National Institute on Biomass, Renewable and Clean Technologies.Mr. Lloyd has an MBA from the University of Ottawa with a concentration in Finance and Accounting, and is CMC, CMA and PMP certified. He is in process of completing a PhD in Public Administration specialising in building high performing teams using intergenerational techniques. A subject he lectures on frequently to universities, colleges and professional associations.
Paul Childerhose is currently Associate Director, Global Reference Data for RBC Capital Markets Operations. Over the last year, he established a team of 10 professionals with diverse, yet complimentary skills and experience which collectively are responsible for managing the strategic, transformational initiatives in support of RBCs enterprise reference data service. His team compliments the 30+ members who are providing daily operational support from Toronto, Minneapolis, New York, London and Sydney for the global capital markets and asset management businesses and the cross horizontal functions of Compliance, Risk and Finance.
