Alexander Bagne, CPA, JD, MBA, CCSP, is the president of ICS Tax LLC. He focuses on tax planning strategies for real estate investors and developers, is a proponent of energy efficient construction and has served as the president of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP).

Wayne Chang is a serial entrepreneur and one of Forbes’ Top 50 Angel Investors. He has created products acquired by Google and Twitter, and has been involved in over 80 start-ups. His latest venture, Digits, is backed by $32 million from Benchmark and GV.

Jack Reagan is a managing director at UHY Advisors and a member of the firm’s national management committee that oversees the national audit and assurance practice. He has over 30 years of experience serving state and local governments, local school districts, federal government entities, and not for profit organizations as both an auditor and consultant. He has served many of the largest state and local government entities throughout the country, including New York City, Boston, San Jose, Nashville and Washington, D.C., as well as the states of New York, Texas, New Jersey, Delaware and California and Fairfax County (Virginia), Loudoun County (Virginia) and Montgomery County (Maryland). Reagan has also successfully assisted numerous localities in obtaining and maintaining their GFOA and ASB Certificates of Excellence in Financial Reporting. He graduated from the University of Richmond with a BSBA in accounting.

Sameer leads a team dedicated to continuous growth and delivering a portfolio of services to leading insurance companies around the world. Sameer brings to this role particular expertise in the insurance industry, operations excellence, data analytics, and digital transformation. Sameer is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Sameer has been in leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Genpact for 15 years and was instrumental in setting up the insurance business at Genpact. His holistic approach to serving clients, and his expert grasp of digital technologies and deep domain expertise, have helped him lead large, successful engagements over the years.

Prior to Genpact, Sameer worked for seven years in the insurance business at General Electric, earning a Master Black Belt designation and serving as an operations leader in GE’s insurance vertical focused on claims and underwriting operations.

Sameer earned dual masters’ degrees in management and economics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.

Maiclaire Bolton Smith holds the position of senior leader, research and content strategy at CoreLogic. In this role, she leads the thought leadership team for the insurance division and works with the enterprise thought leadership team to reveal new insights about climate to the broader property ecosystem.

Prior to CoreLogic, Bolton Smith held previous positions at RMS, Emergency Management British Columbia, the International Seismological Centre and the Geological Survey of Canada. She is a seismologist by trade. She earned her bachelor’s in geophysics from the University of Western Ontario and her master’s in geophysics, specializing in earthquake seismology, from the University of Victoria.

From blazing wildfires in California to hurricanes along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts to even tropical cyclones and earthquakes worldwide, this global team keeps tabs on catastrophic activity. They release explanations of the probability of homes impacted, the kind of damage we foresee and the dollar value of losses. In addition, they provide expertise and guidance to the industry on how to be more resilient and help protect homes in the face of natural hazards.

David Van Bruwaene is a purpose-driven serial entrepreneur, philosopher, and educator; a leader in consumer and business strategy for ethical technologies. He is the founder and CEO of FAIRLY, a governance, risk, and compliance solution built to help businesses accelerate responsible AI models to market. Through FAIRLY, Van Bruwaene is working to promote and protect human rights at a time of growing concern of AI model development. With academic roots in Cognitive Science and Philosophy at Cornell University, David has academic relationships at UC Berkeley, the University of Ottawa, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Guelph.

Ramanan Seshadri manages the professional services business unit for Orion Innovation, where he is responsible for accelerating business growth, client delight, and competency development. He is a global software services leader with an impressive and diverse 25-year track record from individual contributor to leading teams, turning markets and doing business in tough scenarios. He spent more than 12 years in Hexaware Technologies where he held various roles and became a member of the Management Council. As well as managing one of the largest relationships for Hexaware, he also acted as head of the Europe region, and led the health care and insurance verticals. Prior to joining Orion, he held leadership roles in Citiustech and Iris Software. He has a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madras University and a certificate from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

John Grevas is director of product marking at Ohio National Financial Services. A 15-year veteran of the industry, Grevas specializes in life insurance and annuity products and finding ways to make the benefits they offer easier for clients to understand. He holds a master’s degree in journalism and communication.
