    Nick Halsey is SugarCRM's chief marketing officer and executive vice president of corporate development, and manages the company's overall go-to-market strategy. Nick has over 25 years of experience in the high technology sector, and has played a leading role in the emergence of the commercial open source market. Prior to SugarCRM, Halsey served as the vice president of marketing and product management at Jaspersoft Corporation, the leading open source business intelligence company. He was a co-founder of Biz360, the leading provider of social media monitoring and market intelligence solutions that was recently acquired by Attensity Group, and also served as the founding vice president of sales and marketing for Brio Software, where over six years he lead the company to $150 million in sales and to a successful IPO. Nick also served as the CMO and executive vice president of corporate development at Alphablox, guiding it to an acquisition by IBM.

    Dr. William L. Bain is CEO and founder and David Worthington leads the New York office for ScaleOut Software. The company develops software products that help handle large data loads in server farms and compute grids. ScaleOut has offices in Bellevue, Washington, Beaverton, Oregon, and New York.

    Doug Lloyd is the financial system authority for the government of Canada. He is responsible for developing and setting financial business processes for the government, as well as establishing common financial information, common financial configurations, and policies on the stewardship of financial management systems (both automated and manual). His team is also responsible for a community building and capacity development regime for finance personnel in the government, as well as operating a centre of outreach aspects of finance. Prior to this, Mr. Lloyd was on exchange from the private sector where he was the President and CEO of a private sector niche management consulting company and was responsible for managing and troubleshooting major crown projects for Treasury Board Secretariat, Public Works and Government Services Canada and Human Resources Development Canada. He won two distinction awards from the industry for project management at this time. Mr. Lloyd is the former President and Chair of the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority, the provincial Crown Corporation responsible for all yellow school busses in Ottawa-Carleton; and is now the chair of the National Institute on Biomass, Renewable and Clean Technologies.Mr. Lloyd has an MBA from the University of Ottawa with a concentration in Finance and Accounting, and is CMC, CMA and PMP certified. He is in process of completing a PhD in Public Administration specialising in building high performing teams using intergenerational techniques. A subject he lectures on frequently to universities, colleges and professional associations.

    Paul Childerhose is currently Associate Director, Global Reference Data for RBC Capital Markets Operations. Over the last year, he established a team of 10 professionals with diverse, yet complimentary skills and experience which collectively are responsible for managing the strategic, transformational initiatives in support of RBC’s enterprise reference data service. His team compliments the 30+ members who are providing daily operational support from Toronto, Minneapolis, New York, London and Sydney for the global capital markets and asset management businesses and the cross horizontal functions of Compliance, Risk and Finance. Paul also represents RBC on the EDM Council Board of Directors.

    Richard Lee has been an Information Management professional for more than 30 years. Mr. Lee is currently responsible for leading ICBC’s information transformation project (INFO), establishing its Data Governance Office, and leading its Business Analytics – Community of Practice. He reports to ICBC’s CFO and was previously responsible for leading the organization’s BICC (business intelligence competency centre). Prior to joining ICBC, Mr. Lee was a consultant to the executive team at Microsoft (Redmond, WA) on strategy & analytics. He is a widely published thought leader on Information Management and Predictive Analytics. Mr. Lee has a BSc and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA (Management & Decision Sciences) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

    David Colbourn is the DBA for the enterprise architecture group at Ca Technologies. He previously worked for IT groups in companies such as ADP, Morgan Stanley, The Federal Reserve Bank, Lockheed Martin, 1-800 flowers and others. He served as an adjunct instructor at Pace University, his alma mater, for several years. He has over 26 years in the field of systems installation customization integration and design with the concentration in database management, data design, modeling and warehousing.
