John Head is the National Director of The Intersect Group’s Information Strategy & Delivery practice. He has more than 18 years of experience helping organizations leverage information to create practical and real business value. Prior to joining The Intersect Group, Mr. Head had been a vice president for Hitachi Consulting and a principle for Navigator Systems, a specialized BI & CPM consultancy. Mr. Head also has extensive experience in the software industry during his tenure with Hyperion Solutions & Oracle, and was a founding member of the BI practice for Arthur Andersen.

In his role as a senior technology visionary, Bert Buchanan has established strategies and set direction for some of Canada’s largest corporations in the financial, consulting and telecom sectors. Specifically, Mr. Buchanan has led very large architecture, development and support organizations. These experiences over the past 20+ years have provided him with key insights into banking (retail, corporate and capital markets), telecommunications, and IS/IT consulting. Prior to his current role as Head of Corporate Architecture at TD Bank, Mr. Buchanan also performed a similar strategic role as Technology Head at Royal Bank of Canada. In addition, he also worked as Director at CGI and Senior Director at CIBC. Mr. Buchanan received his business degrees from George Brown College and the University of Manitoba.

Bill Giard is a Senior Enterprise Architect in the IT organization and joined Intel in 1996. He started at Intel working on the design engineering application and has since been involved in deploying large enterprise capabilities across the company. Mr. Giard has spent the majority of his career helping to improve master data and product data management capabilities and is responsible for the MDM and PLM architecture for Intel. He has helped the company deploy a central instance for product data management, including product excursion and issue management, environmental compliance, and external collaboration capabilities in conjunction with a master data foundation that links product lifecycle and PLM with supply planning and ERP.

Sam Alapati is Senior Technical Director, Miro Consulting Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Kansas State University and conducted post doctoral research in Information Systems at the University of Texas at Austin.

Based in Silicon Valley, Brian Babineau serves as Vice President of Research and Analyst Services for Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG).

Dr. David Steier is a director in Deloitte LLP, where he co-leads a group in the U.S. Deloitte Analytics Institute focused on advanced analytics and visualization. Prior to joining Deloitte, Steier worked at PwC, where he served as director of the Center for Advanced Research, and previously as a managing director at Scient.

Sunil Soares is the founder and managing partner of Information Asset, a consulting firm that specializes in helping organizations build out their data governance programs. Prior to this role, Sunil was the Director of Information Governance at IBM, and worked with clients across six continents and multiple industries.Sunil is the author of several books including The IBM Data Governance Unified Process, Selling Information Governance to the Business, Big Data Governance, Data Governance Tools and The Chief Data Officer Handbook for Data Governance.
